On Tuesday 30th April 2024, 7 teams from Huntingdonshire Primary schools attended the second Hunts School Sports Partnership Year 5/6 Bee Netball competition of the year.
The event which took place at Longsands Academy welcomed locals primary schools to an exciting tournament to decide who would progress to represent Huntingdonshire at the county finals in May.
The tournament followed a round robin format providing every team the opportunity to play against each other. The team with the most points would be crowned Longsands Bee Netball Champions and qualify with the second placed teams for the Cambridgeshire Bee Netball finals in May.

- Ermine Street Church Academy – County Qualifier
- Buckden CE Primary Academy – County Qualifier
- Holme CofE Primary School
The competition was ably supported by Year 9 Sports Leaders from Longsands Academy who umpired every game confidently and competently. They were a credit to the school.
Good luck to the Ermine and Buckden who join Thorndown Primary School and Warboys Primary Academy in the county finals as Huntingdonshire’s representatives. We wish them good luck and look forward to hearing how they get on.
