The Cambridgeshire NFL Flag Football Regional Finals, hosted by NFL UK and the Hunts School Sports Partnership, returned to One Leisure St Ives Outdoor Centre on Friday 17th May 2024. The event bringing together an exhilarating showcase of young athletic talent, with the fast paced, inclusive and easy to access format of American Football.
The event featured three competitive categories: Y5/6, Y7/8, and Y9/10 Girls, highlighting the growing popularity of flag football among young people and schools in Cambridgeshire.
With 26 teams and over 225 children participating, the atmosphere was electric as teams battled it out for a coveted spot at the national finals at Loughborough University in June. The day’s action-packed matches demonstrated impressive skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, setting the stage for an exciting conclusion at the national level.
