The Let Girls Play Biggest Ever Session 2024 took place on Friday 8th March.
As part of the Barclays Girls’ Football School Partnership, we wanted to do our part in Huntingdonshire to help make it the biggest ever football session. The event, which took place on International Women’s Day, aims to get as many girls as possible all playing football on the same day in schools across England. Schools could run their sessions before school, at break or lunch time or after school.
To help get schools involved the we organised two Year 3/4 Girls Football Festival and a Year 7/8 Girls Football Festival throughout the week.
Thank you to everyone that attended the events and made for a successful week celebrating girls football in Huntingdonshire.
